The Accounting Today VAR 100 is an annual list of the top resellers and implementation partners by revenue and number of employees, written both to explain which VARs are the largest and which have the size, skills, and scope to satisfy the needs of clients.
“After a challenging 2020, we are ecstatic to see our continued growth recognized by the analysts and journalists at Accounting Today,” said Bart Nachimow, CEO & Founder at MIBAR. “I would like to congratulate and thank the entire MIBAR team for their hard work and commitment in 2020 and look forward to finishing 2021 strong.”
In addition to the ranking, Accounting Today also offers insights into the opportunities and challenges in the industry, noting a few key trends in their 2021 report:
- Cloud: The pandemic pushed everyone to embrace the cloud very quickly, but 2021 is a year of walking a different line: figuring out how to keep up the momentum of cloud adoption and use, and not let it lag as things get “back to normal.”
- Video calling: Technology like video conferencing became the norm, and now feels indispensable. Video calling is not just a stop-gap. The simple tool allows consultants to communicate with clients without wasting time traveling, and that lets communication happen more frequently.
- Data analytics, forecasting, and more: Access to data analytics capabilities became invaluable for businesses to get real insight into their numbers and make plans for getting through the tough time. Some companies started performing forecasts several times a month to keep up with how developments around COVID were changing sometimes week to week.
