MIBAR Named to Accounting Today VAR 100 2019 List
NEW YORK—July 15, 2019—MIBAR, a leading provider of business management solutions including enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, business intelligence, and more for midmarket companies in New York and throughout the Northeast has today announced its inclusion to the Accounting Today VAR 100, a list of the largest value added resellers in the nation.
The Accounting Today VAR 100 is an annual list of the top resellers and implementation partners by revenue and number of employees, written both to explain which VARs are the largest and which have the size, skills, and scope to satisfy the needs of clients.
“We are ecstatic to see our continued growth recognized by the analysts and journalists at Accounting Today,” said Bart Nachimow, CEO & Founder at MIBAR. “Appearing at number fifty-three on the list, we are not only excited to continue climbing, but hopeful to crack the top 50 in the coming year. I would like to congratulate and thank the entire MIBAR team for their hard work and commitment in 2018 and look forward to finishing 2019 strong.”
In addition to the ranking, Accounting Today also offers insights into the opportunities and challenges in the industry, noting a few key trends in their 2019 report:
- Even late adopters want the cloud: Driven in part by their own competition and specialized resellers adopting cloud options, industries slower to adopt new technology are entering the cloud at a rapid pace. However, this does come with the danger of the fake cloud, something discussed in a recent MIBAR guide.
- Continued security focus: Driven by regulatory compliance and accounting standards, more clients have shown interest in security and privacy services, driven in part by data privacy regulations such as Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act.
- Demand for reseller services grows: As VARs sit at the intersection between two skill areas—accounting and technology—their services are in even more demand by clients. While the combination puts pressure on VARs to find in-demand talent, it also means that these firms are among the only ones who have the skills to implement and customize products.
