At MIBAR, we are continually focused on improving our customer experience and growing our business. Without our customers and our team, we wouldn’t be where we are today, and with this in mind, we are proud to announce that we once again have appeared on Bob Scott’s list of the top 100 list of value-added resellers.

Bob Scott’s ERP Global Insights Top 100 VARs for 2019

Bob Scott is a well-known name in the mid-market financial software community, who has been providing articles and email newsletters with insights for and about the community since 1997.

Considered to be one of the leading voices in the reseller marketplace, in 2011 he began an annual ranking of the top VARs in terms of revenue. Continuing this highly anticipated VAR ranking after renaming his firm ERP Global Insights, this report complements the innovation and leadership-based VAR Star list released each December.

How the Top 100 Are Chosen

While the VAR Star List is based on a wide range of subjective factors (and includes MIBAR as well), the Top 100 VAR report highlights companies on size alone. Per the report:

“The ranking of the Top 100 mid-market reselling firms is based solely on annual revenue. When more than one company reported the same revenue, they are listed as tied. Few of the companies chosen or considered are public companies that report results with readily available revenue figures. […] Other revenue figures were submitted by the companies themselves.

In cases in which resellers declined to provide revenue, estimates were made. Factors utilized in estimating include the number of employees reported and the typical selling prices of the products they carry. Other publicly available sources of information were considered, and information provided for Bob Scott’s VAR Star selection last fall was also used. All companies considered carry products other than financial software, and revenue from those products is included the totals reported here.”

Why the List is Important

The list, released each June, is designed for two reasons, 1) To Give VARs and their vendors “bragging rights” and 2) to help potential customers find the true leaders in the marketplace, allowing them to find a similarly-sized VAR who has the resources available to complete their implementation project. There are many ways to choose an implementation partner, but one of the best ways is to understand who is on the upswing and who has the resources available for a project. Choose a reseller too big and you may end up getting the B-team, choose one too small and they will be stretched thin.

MIBAR’s Growth Places the Team at 63

It’s been a good year at MIBAR, and as we continue to grow, we are proud to announce that we have once again landed on this list of the top VARs, moving up to number 63 on the list of leading partners, thanks in part to our growing Acumatica and Power BI practices and our continued success as a NetSuite Partner.

We are excited to once again appear on this list, and paired with our appearance in the 2018 VAR Star report, we can say that we are not only one of the biggest—we’re one of the best (and according to our case studies and testimonials, our customers agree).
