Mibar completes first phase
of system implementation for 50 store retail Salon chain.
Salon Development Corporation (SDC), a northeast regional salon management company, has selected Mibar.net to implement its new chain wide business management system. SDC with over 50 retail salon locations needed to upgrade their aging retail and headquarters management systems with new technology and software. With a goal of achieving real time inventory management and sales data and stronger financial reporting, SDC turned to Mibar.net to help plan and configure a solution that would deliver on these objectives and improve profitability through elimination of redundant processes and centralization of data and management control. Working with the Microsoft Dynamics business management suite, Mibar has completed the first phase of a fully integrated suite of software featuring Microsoft Dynamics RMS store operations, Dynamics RMS HQ and Dynamics GP (financials).
The integrated solution has helped to improve inventory management and purchasing at their central warehouse by allowing the management team to better handle inventory levels and merchandise requests from their remote locations. Additionally, transactional integration between the applications has helped to tighten audit controls and information flow to their financial management software. Through the use of a wireless warehouse picking and receiving solution, SDC will also be able to improve efficiency and accuracy of their pick, pack and ship operations.
